Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information FPL Weekly ("we", "us") collects when you use the FPL Weekly mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"), how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Summary
- The app does not require an account to use its core features.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We collect the minimum information needed to run the Service.
Information we collect
- Public FPL data. We mirror publicly available Fantasy Premier League data (fixtures, player data, price changes, live gameweek data). This data is about players, teams and fixtures — not about you.
- Optional linked team. If you choose to link your FPL manager ID, we fetch the same information that the public Fantasy Premier League API returns for that ID (e.g. your picks, points and mini-league standings). Your manager ID is stored locally on your device.
- Device and technical data. Standard information sent by your device when it talks to our servers (IP address, app version, operating system, crash logs). This is used to keep the Service running and to investigate bugs.
- Analytics. At launch, we do not run any third-party analytics on this website. If we introduce analytics in future, we will use a privacy-friendly provider that does not set advertising cookies, and we will update this policy before enabling it.
How we use information
- To provide the features of the Service and keep them current.
- To investigate problems and improve reliability.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect the Service from abuse.
Sharing
We do not share your personal information with advertisers. We use a small number of infrastructure providers (such as Google Firebase) to host the Service; those providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Retention
We keep server logs for a short period to investigate abuse and reliability issues, then they are deleted. Data stored locally on your device (like your FPL manager ID or preferences) stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear the app's data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal data we hold, including the right to access, correct or delete it. Since the app can be used without an account, in most cases you can exercise these rights by uninstalling the app or clearing its data. If you need more, contact us (below) and we will help.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or on this page.
